We ask for very little, we use it for one thing, and we do not sell it.
Who we are
P.D. Padel Life Limited (trading as Padelife Academy), Limassol, Cyprus, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@padelifeacademy.com.
What we collect
When you request the Admissions Deck we collect your first name, phone number and email address, whether the request is for an adult or for a junior under 18, and whether you would like it delivered on WhatsApp. When you complete Find Your Baseline we additionally collect your answers to the seven questions and the provisional level and program calculated from them. If you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we hold that correspondence.
A junior request asks for the parent or guardian's details, not the child's. We collect nothing about a child at this stage, and no name, age or any other detail about them is needed to receive the junior deck.
The Baseline is scored in your browser. Nothing is sent to us until you choose to submit your details.
Why we use it
To send you the Admissions Deck or your report, to follow up about joining the academy, and to arrange an assessment. Enquiries are reviewed by the Academy; your details are not passed to third parties for their own marketing, ever.
Legal basis
Your consent, given when you tick the box on the form. Where we continue a conversation you started, we also rely on our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any message or writing to info@padelifeacademy.com.
If you opt in to receive occasional academy news, we confirm that separately by email (double opt-in) and every message carries an unsubscribe link.
Who processes it
Our website host, our email delivery provider, and the customer records system used to track enquiries. Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement. Where a provider operates outside the European Economic Area, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Analytics
We measure aggregate traffic and conversion events (Admissions Deck requests, Baseline completions, WhatsApp clicks) to understand which parts of the site are useful. Analytics and advertising measurement load only where they have been configured and where applicable consent has been given.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become memberships are deleted after twenty-four months. Member records are kept for the duration of membership and for as long as required afterwards by Cypriot accounting and tax law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@padelifeacademy.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
Photography
Images of members and juniors are only used in academy communications where written consent has been given, and consent can be withdrawn at any time. Consent for a child is given by a parent or guardian.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will say so here and, where the change affects you, tell you directly.
